My career has been shaped by a consistent question: how can organisations use technology to improve the way they actually work?
I began in digital transformation consulting in Malaysia in 2010 before progressing into operations leadership, organisational development, SME support and capability building. This experience taught me that technology rarely fails because of the technology itself. It fails when processes, people, data and organisational priorities are not ready to support it.
My work now sits at the intersection of digital transformation, AI readiness and SME capability development. I work with SMEs to identify where technology and AI can create genuine value, assess whether the organisation is ready and develop practical pathways towards responsible implementation.
Alongside this work, I am conducting doctoral research focused on developing and validating a theory-anchored AI-readiness instrument for SMEs in Mauritius. I also contribute to capability and ecosystem development through AiReady.mu, Mauritius AI Network and practical AI training.
I believe successful AI adoption is ultimately an organisational capability challenge. The organisations that create lasting value from AI will not necessarily be those that adopt the most tools, but those that prepare their people, processes and operating models to use them effectively.
