01 · About Me

Transformation first.
AI increasingly at the centre.

My professional journey has developed across telecommunications, operations, programme development, SME development, capacity building and digital transformation, with AI strategy and organisational readiness increasingly becoming the focus of my work.

My earlier professional experience included operational and team leadership within the telecommunications environment at Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel), followed by operations and training programme management at The Open College Ltd (OCEP Training Institute) in Mauritius. These roles developed my experience in managing people, programmes, processes and learning initiatives within structured organisational environments.

Since 2018, a significant part of my professional work at SME Mauritius has centred on SME development and digital transformation. This has included the review and assessment of more than 200 transformation projects, providing direct exposure to the practical challenges SMEs encounter when adopting technology, from business processes and organisational capability to implementation and technology adoption.

Capacity development has also remained a recurring part of my work. My experience includes training needs analysis, programme and course coordination, curriculum development and review, training delivery, and international institutional development. I have contributed to education initiatives involving institutions from Australia and Malaysia and, more recently, to the development and delivery of AI-focused training programmes for SMEs.

Today, my work increasingly focuses on AI strategy, organisational AI readiness and responsible adoption. This is also the focus of my doctoral research, which examines AI readiness among SMEs in Mauritius and the organisational conditions required for meaningful adoption.

Across these areas, my interest remains consistent: helping organisations move beyond acquiring technology towards developing the processes, skills, capabilities and readiness required to create sustainable value from it.
